template form or custom-designed to meet your individual needs and desires.
Each site I build is hand-coded for optimal performance. I do not offer template
designs as I believe your website should be uniquely yours and not one based on a
cookie-cutter template used by hundreds or even thousands of others.
Tip
In your quest to find a designer, may I suggest that you keep this distinction in
mind so that you do not end up paying premium prices for a recycled template site,
or one built with a graphical editor such as FrontPage. While there's nothing wrong
with either of these solutions if that is what meets your needs, you shouldn't have
to pay more than it's worth.

Absolutely! The Internet is a big cyberplace and personal interaction, whether face
to face or over the phone, is rare. In business sites especially, there is a tendency to
focus on total professionalism to the exclusion of all else, creating at best a very
nice-looking site that is devoid of any personality whatsoever.
When people land on a site that feels comfortable and friendly, they are more likely
to come back to it again and again. Be professional
and be yourself. The
friendliness and helpfulness - and professionalism - that you demand of your employess
should be mirrored on your website.
How much does it cost?
It's the answer nobody likes: It depends. Don't you just hate that? But it's the
truth, especially in this business. The price of a website is dependent upon its
size and complexity. Do you need many pages, or just a few? Do you have hundreds
of photos that will need to be scanned, or just a couple? Or none? Do you need a
brochure site, or an e-commerce site? Do you have a logo, or do you need one created?
All of these things, and more, affect the cost of building a website.
